Regular Activities
Our small but developing congregation does more than meet on a Sunday!
Cafe Connect
Our congregational activities include Cafe Connect, a weekly coffee morning every Tuesday from 10 am to 12 noon.
Study Groups
We also run study groups/open programmes that explore how to relate the spiritual and philosophical dimensions to everyday life, without the need for fixed dogma. These take place either in the Meeting House or in attenders’ homes.
Open Days
We open our doors some Saturdays during the summer months so that the many visitors to this pleasant market town can visit our historic building and find out more about us.
Well-being Classes
Other regular activities currently include a mindfulness group and yoga class. We aim to continue to broaden the range of what we can offer to the local community.
HIRE OUR VENUE FOR YOUR SPECIAL ONE-OFF EVENTS
Our Meeting House is made available to local arts groups for exhibitions.
We increasingly also accommodate concerts and theatre.
We open for Heritage Weekend in mid-September each year and usually host activities for Sausagefest in October.
You too could host your special event at the Unitarian Meeting House.
